About Me

Hi! I'm Megan. I grew up in Minnesota, and moved to Dubuque when my boyfriend turned fiancé turned husband got a job as an Engineer at John Deere in 2011. We have three adorable, opinionated, hilarious children who keep us on our toes and make sure we stay addicted to coffee.

I graduated with my BSN from Bethel University in St. Paul in 2011. I decided to go back to Bethel to pursue my MSN and become a certified nurse-midwife after my son, Oliver's, birth in 2014. I became passionate about providing postpartum care especially for women during that time. Owen helped me finish out my education and was born two weeks after I took midwifery boards in 2017. Onyx came along in 2019 and has been a light during the difficult year that is 2020.

My passion for midwifery came naturally and evolved over time. For many years I supported women through women's health concerns and prenatal and postpartum care. Now that our family is complete, it is the perfect time to add homebirth to my list of services.

I'm excited to help women in my community achieve the pregnancy and birth of their dreams.
